Answer

Yes. Daughter is coparcener by birth irrespective of father being alive (Section 6 as interpreted).

Hindu female inherited property under compromise decree with restriction. Can she alienate?

Answer

No, if restriction is explicit → Section 14(2) applies.

A son murders his father. Can he inherit property?

Answer

No. Disqualified under Section 25.


Problem 5

Property inherited by son from father in 2010. Can son’s children claim birth right?

Answer

No. It is self-acquired property of son.
